Signature Holiday -100% Sikkim (12 – 22 November)

The Hidden Treasures of North Sikkim

The itinerary we are sharing with you will ensure that you can tour up to the hidden treasures of north Sikkim with ease, considering that acclimatising to the altitude would be our primary concern. This itinerary for 10 nights and 11 days is completely customisable and can be tweaked further based on your travel needs.

The best season to undertake this travel plan would be October onwards.

At the outset, we would like to say that in a destination like Sikkim, we are highly constrained by the taxi ‘mafia’ and are unable to offer cars at disposal. Cars are offered as per stipulated hours only. Also, cars will have to be changed at Sikkim border, while entering the state and exiting.

The Trip
This Signature trip covers absolutely EVERYTHING in Sikkim – everything that we feel is worthy of seeing and experiencing!
There is a lot of road travel that is inevitable when traversing a terrain like Sikkim. Distances and travel time are therefore mentioned in the itinerary.
Trip Leader
Ritu, our founder, will accompany as Trip Leader.
As a Trip Leader, Ritu has proven credentials and brings a lot of energy to the group. Her insights into the region are based on her own explorations and will add immense value to those who want to not just tick this destination off their bucket list, but also want to understand everything about it.
The group will also be accompanied by a guide.
The Group
The travellers who join this trip will be like minded individuals who want to explore the region and also make new friends along the way! The trip is ideal for all age groups of travellers.
All travel will be in Innova cars and we will seat up to 4 guests in one car.
All Inclusive Cost
The cost for the holiday includes everything – rooms, car, all meals, snacks, all activities, permits – EVERYTHING that needs to be covered. All you have to do is pay for airfare, join the trip and carry money for shopping!
Ritu has specifically handpicked the homestays in Gangtok (run by a wonderful lady, who whips up excellent food) and Pelling (this family’s hospitality is another level) for their hospitality. Even though rooms are basic, they’ll be clean. In Gnathang and Aritar, we are constrained to use the homestays that are available. They’re really really basic, but to cover these regions, guests have to manage living in these. In North Sikkim, Lachen & Lachung, 3 star and 4 star hotels have been chosen as the areas do not have good homestays.
